This upcoming week is going to be a bit full on so I’m not sure if many posts will go up, but I’ll try put up some photos of the Dark Angels as I’m working on them. I’m just trying to work out the paint colours and which scheme I like as I’ve seen so many variations of Dark Angels out there. I’ve base coated the Dark Angels so I’m hoping to start painting this week. I have a number of hobbies, I blog about one and may in the future blog about more of them, but we will see. I make my life by working in Higher Education and I continue to also be a student/consumer. I’m so excied to start painting these models. I am a native New Yorker who has relocated to the Midwest. I give it 10 out of 10.Īnyway now that I have stopped babbling about Guild War 2, the other thing I’ve been working on is putting together my Dark Vengeance models: There is so many more awesome things I’m forgetting, but definitely go out and buy this game, it truly deserves 9 out of 10.Bank – this is so sweet, share resources amongst all your toons via the same bank and collection tabs.Farming – omg this is brilliant, you don’t have to worry about people stealing your nodes.Crafting – I love the crafting! its so easy and I love how when you are say making 50 pieces of clothes it speeds up so you are not spending 30 minutes just making cloth.

The world is so adventurous, you jump in and out of events and its so great to see everyone working together to smash a massive foe or complete a series of mini events.

I really need to get some table time with Infinity. Now I’m not going to do a massive review for this game, there are plenty out there already, like this one:īut lets just highlight some of the great things about this game: Its the single most difficult to paint model that I had to do so far (I have 2 land raiders to assemble though, so it might get knocked down to 2nd place ). Geeze, thinking about it I haven't played a single 40k game in nearly 2 1/2 years, and about 2 for Infinity.

This serves 2 purposes : One: It helps to distribute the paint evenly across the brush's hair. Rub the brush on a sheet of paper (normal writing paper) as if you are trying to draw something on it until almost no paint comes off. I am so glad I spent the time to slowly paint this model in stages, it really was a lot of fun and the biggest paint job I’ve ever done on a model.įor most of the rest of the time I was playing Guild Wars 2. Dip your brush in non-dilluted paint, directly from the pot (prefferably). If you need to expand your paint collection to follow the tutorial, check out our partner stores Wayland Games and Element Games, which offer an amazing range of paints at a discount.Thats right, I’ve finally completed the Mortis Engine and I’m absolutely wrapped with the results. Each step shows the paint I used during that step. Underneath each picture are the corresponding instructions. Each picture below shows four chronological steps. For the beginners, I will explain the techniques as I go along.
